Music Monday #7

12:06

It's that time of week again, luckily though I don't have college today so I'm not too moody today. This week is some of my favourite British music made by men - hope you enjoy! You may also notice a distinct lack of Queen here, I love Queen to much to just choose one song so I'm going to decicate a whole week to them!

Satisfaction - The Rolling Stones

Argubly the most Iconic British song ever made, possibly - close tie with Bohemian Rhapsody.

Lola - The Kinks

I must admit that I first heard this song through a cover version by McFly, and I thought it was rather wierd. When I started listening to The Kinks a little more the song began to grow on me and it's probably now my favourite song of theirs.

Married With Children - Oasis

This was the song that made me fall in love with Oasis - this and Digsy's Dinner. If I'm honest, I was probably too young to be listening to them, considering I was about 6, but I'm glad I did because they are one of the most incredible bands to have ever graced the earth.

Metal Guru - T. Rex

T. Rex were one of the bands I grew up on and they will forever have a special place in my heart - they're weird and nonsensical and I love it.

Who Are You - The Who

Before it became the Iconic theme tune to CSI, it was Iconic in its own right. I just love the arping bass and intro so so much.
